Ebook About
This book can be described as 1/3 trading psychology, 1/3 risk management and 1/3 technical analysis. My early days of trading were filled with frustration, confusion and constant losses. After making some of the same mistakes over and over again I began to adapt and learned a few tricks to minimize my losses. As I began passing these tricks on to my fellow traders through my twitter account and blog (chedstrading.blogspot.com) it launched me on a path of learning and teaching. With enough time that path lead to dedicated studies of Japanese candlesticks and classical charting, and ultimately CMT certification. My career and brand have been built on “helping new traders avoid my old mistakes”, and this book is a natural extension of those efforts. This book is also a natural extension of my “Complete Beginners Guide to Trading” that I wrote back in 2017 when I was undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma. I subsequently beat my cancer and wrote a book about that experience, and have since continued to grow in my journey as a trader and teacher. Building on my years of work with my twitter account, learning blog and various other writings on trading subjects, I am happy to now bring together in one place all those bits and pieces that have helped to make me a successful trader. I have personally made every single mistake mentioned in this book multiple times and therefore can speak from the heart, which I hope makes each lesson a little bit easier to learn. Thank you for reading and best of luck in your trading journey.

Book Trading Wisdom: 50 lessons every trader should know Review :

I consider myself to be a trader of moderate experience. I make more with it very part-time than many people do with full-time jobs. I also my business school degree in finance (over 30 years ago!). I say this for perspective on where I'm coming from.I've probably read a few hundred books about the markets and have taken many courses since my college days. What Cheds did here wasn't so much about the technical aspects of trading but about the emotional and psychological aspects of trading. These are 2 areas I've not seen well covered in any other books or programs.Although I did know, at least on some level, most of what Cheds wrote, he gave confirmation of what I believed to be true. That is always helpful. But he also helped me identify some issues I have that are preventing me from succeeding at the level I could be. Just one takeaway resulted in me making a change that resulted in a $1200 increase in profits in one day!I highly recommend this book for traders of all experience levels. For beginners, some of it may challenging to understand if you're weak on terminology but the lessons you can apply right away will help you stay in the game longer than you would have otherwise. For more experienced traders, it can help you do a self-assessment to see areas you can approve upon (provided you're honest!).
Update: Just finished. There was info in here that would have saved me so much money. I’ve put it back on my list to re-read.I’m only on lesson 20, but there’s so much wisdom here. Cheds somehow knows the mistakes that I’ve already been making and had to pay a lot for my education from them. Each chapter is short, and gets right to the point. There’s no fat that I can see.
